New York, NY, August 18, 2025 -- Marcum Asia CPAs LLP is pleased to announce that Jessie Wei has joined the firm as Quality Control Partner, effective August 18, 2025. In this role, she will help drive the continued development of our PCAOB-compliant quality control system, with a focus on strengthening quality control and compliance across the firm.

According to the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), a firm’s quality control system impacts many aspects of day-to-day management and operations — from governance and leadership, ethics and independence, and resource allocation, to information communication and monitoring. Establishing, operating, and continuously improving this system requires significant effort, coordination, and commitment from leadership and professionals across the firm.
Our Quality Control Partners play a central role in this process. Their responsibilities include:
Overseeing Engagement Quality Reviews (EQR) for high-risk and specialized engagements
Leading internal inspections and monitoring to identify and address quality risks
Developing and implementing policies, training, and consultations on complex technical issues
Driving continuous improvement initiatives in quality and compliance across the firm
Through these efforts, MarcumAsia ensures that every engagement is conducted with the highest levels of accuracy, compliance, and professional integrity.
About Jessie Wei
Jessie brings 18 years of accounting and finance experience, including 13 years at Ernst & Young (EY), serving public and private companies in telecommunications, technology, life sciences, and specialty construction. She has deep experience in SEC filings, IPOs, debt and equity offerings, acquisitions, divestitures, and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation, and has worked in EY’s Americas Professional Practice team developing tools and guidance for high-quality audits.
Beyond her technical expertise, Jessie is a committed leader in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, serving on nonprofit boards and mentoring professionals across the industry.
