New York, November 29, 2011 – Marcum LLP, one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in the nation is pleased to announce its participation as sponsors of the 2011 Deal Flow Media's Alternative Finance Conference, December 12-13, 2011 at the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel, Tel Aviv, Israel.

David Bukzin, Partner-in-Charge of Marcum LLP's SEC Practice Group, will participate as an expert speaker on the following industry panel on site at the conference:

  • "Alternative IPO's & Reverse Mergers for Smaller Companies and Pre-Revenue R&D Companies"  to be held on Monday, December 12th at 11:05 am.

This panel examines what Israeli companies need to know about alternative routes to the public markets in the United States and how to position themselves favorably to United States investors.

Mr. Bukzin stated, "We are excited to be participating in DealFlow Media’s Alternative Finance Conference. We are anxious to explore opportunities to assist Israel based companies in accessing the U.S. capital markets. Our capital markets have an appetite for high growth technology companies and that’s exactly what Israeli entrepreneurs are focused on."

DealFlow Media's Alternative Finance Conference is a forum for discussion of unconventional sources of capital for Israeli companies. This event transcends familiar dialogue on venture capital and private equity and dives right into the topics that Israeli companies aren't familiar with - alternative public offerings, PIPEs (Private Investment in Public Equity), Registered Directs, Confidentially Marketed Public Offerings (CMPOs), SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies), alternatives to venture capital and structured debt investments.

As a sponsor of the conference, Marcum will host an on-site exhibit booth at the event. To register or for more information regarding this conference please visit: www.dealflow.com
