Even as tensions deepened between Beijing and Washington, the U.S. remained a magnet for Chinese tech companies hoping to go public. “There is still a significant appetite among U.S. investors for Asian companies and the U.S. market remains the gold standard for public offerings,” said Drew Bernstein, co-chairman of accounting firm Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk LLP, whose clients include U.S.-listed Chinese companies.
