However, he cautioned that the true sign of a healthy market is not short-term pops, but whether share prices sustain gains six months to a year after listing. Bernstein added that while new CSRC support policies have improved prospects for Hong Kong IPOs, their long-term success will ultimately depend on macroeconomic data and the quality of companies going public.
